We make science fun, accessible, and unforgettable for every young mind.

Bespoke Hands-On and Educational Workshops

All our workshops are planned and delivered with you in mind. Whether you have a theme, would like us to create a workshop to hit specific areas of the curriculum, or are just looking for some general science.

Ages 2–18

Our goal is to make science fun, interesting, relevant and accessible
to children of all ages (2-18) by providing science education in the
form of hands-on workshops, classes and parties.

Teacher Training (CPD)

We deliver fun, engaging and hands-on CPD to build teacher confidence in science. Led by experienced former Heads of Chemistry, sessions are practical, curriculum linked and classroom ready.

Industry

We collaborate with industry partners to create curriculum – linked science workshops, tailored to learners. Combining real-world context with classroom learning, we develop and deliver engaging experiences that inspire and support STEM understanding.

Primary Science – Resources & Progression Mapping

We develop engaging curriculum – linked science resources for primary schools, supporting the curriculum for Wales, and help map science skills across year groups, ensuring clear progression and continuity in learning.

We have been attending pre school classes with SparkLab since 2021 and now attend school holiday sessions whenever possible. SparkLab is by far the most engaging, enthusiastic and enjoyable class we’ve ever attended and it’s the one class that both my children without fail are excited to attend. Mel and Rhi are truly outstanding at breaking down scientific principles in an age appropriate, accessible and innovative way. My eldest child still has a passion for science several years after aging out of regular pre school session and I truly believe this is largely due to his early introduction to such wonderful classes and exposure to scientific concepts in such an engaging and interesting way. Thank you both for your tireless enthusiasm and energy you apply to every single session.

Spark lab is by far my son’s favourite class. From the very first minute he was totally engrossed in everything Mel and Rhi were teaching. They make the classes so fun and interesting, with a new theme each week, even I learn things! The newly renovated space is beautiful and clean and I really enjoy how the children are all called ‘scientists’ and encouraged to explore and learn in creative ways.

Without doubt the best party the girls have ever been to! They absolutely loved it!

We go to this class regularly…we love it! I learn something every week as does my son. He understands things I had no idea about until senior school science. Mel and Rhi and wonderful!

Attended the session this morning. It was brilliant! My almost 2 year old and 3 year old loved it! Fun, educational and super friendly.

Mel and Rhi were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. From the very beginning the children were hooked with how well presented the hall was. The girls took our theme and really brought it to life and I would honestly love to use SparkLab for every single hook to each theme we do in school!
